Journey Begins

Hello all, we've begun our vacation. Started out great, got searched at the border not only once but twice....how wonderful..our own fault...we hesitated when they said we could go, next thing ya know, drug sniffing dogs are all around the motorhome..here we go again...ohh well we got through it and we are now down in isleton california...been visiting wine vineyards, into san francisco couple times then off to parris california. Just so everybody in Canada knows fuel is way cheaper here, we are saving on average two hundred forty dollars a fill!!! on the motorhome compared with home prices...working out to approx 69 cents per litre..Canadian dollars, yippee.

November rains

Well here we are in November already....its now pouring down with rain..yiippee!!...we are doing our last minute details to get ready to head out on the road with the "Eagle". "So much to do, and so little time to do it.", so says Robert. Saying goodbye to all our friends, packing up the condo...and tidling up the motorhome for the journey south. Having found out that Bobs parents are down south and settled in nicely...friends Dan and Shannon are bombing around down there already...other friends Dave and Debbie are settled in down in the south as well, we are anxious to get going very soon, meet up with all of them, sometime this winter, for a cocktail or six!!.
